June 29, 2009 - The Sage from the side

Left over from Baltic Quays week - this was originally set up for Saturday but I changed them round.

The pictures I see of the Sage are normally much of a muchness, and a little dull. But it’s a really interesting building and looks totally different from nearly every angle. I love this one.

June 27, 2009 - Two picture Saturday - the Hoppings

I spent Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Hoppings. I’ve lived in Newcastle a long time now, but I’d never gone before this year.

There are rides; burgers; fortune tellers. Candy floss. A big wheel. More sun and less rain this year than normal.
