June 26, 2009 - Afraid of the dark?

So is this lamp post. Love it!

So a debate started yesterday in the comments about Newcastle and Gateshead. I’ve asked the question before (anyone who can find the link will win my undying admiration), but where do you think the line is drawn? What’s OK for Newcastle upon Tyne Daily Photo and what’s not? Gateshead? Northumberland - not all that far from the border with Scotland? (That one I think was pushing it far too far, to be honest, but I love the picture.) People have even said that Durham would be OK. I’m not convinced. But at the end of the day - it’s you lot that come and look at the pictures - so what do you think?

June 24, 2009 - Two Picture Wednesday: Tyne God

The last time I posted the Tyne God (a little over a year ago) I mentioned that the Tyne God is my favourite thing in Newcastle. I also asked for your favourite things/places. It’s good to revisit sometimes, so I ask again, what are your favourite things/places in Newcastle?

I bet if we ask nicely, Beth would try to get shots of things that haven’t been featured here yet. :)
