Taken in 2008 during the Christmas holiday, this is Central Station’s Tree. I love the architecture of this station!

Took this from a multi storey car park in Grainger Town a week or so back. Does anyone know what they’re building? Is it something to do with Science City?

This is one of those pieces of art that I never feel I have enough time to stop and look at properly.
From the Newcastle Council website:
Tyne Line of Txt Flow is a 140m long stream of text. The text comes from Roman messages found locally, printed text from the time of King Charles the 1st and text messages collected in 2002 on the day of the Newcastle Sunderland derby. These are identified by translation into SMS text form. William Herbert has written a response making reference to the Skinner Burn flowing under the street.
There are a couple more pictures on my flickr photostream.
