Sorry for missing a few days. I really wanted to go back and fill them in, but I’m already struggling to keep on top. Babies are hard work.
I was at Rake Lane recently for a physio appointment and took this as I was leaving. Bet you never thought North Tyneside District Hospital could look quite so picturesque, eh?

“Babies are hard work”. Now there is the understatement of the year. Having just spent a few days looking after my great granddaughter who wasn’t well enough to go to nursery, I know the feeling. The big difference is that I can go home at the end of the day and leave her with her mother. Don’t get me wrong she is a delight but she is exhausting.
You are right, Beth, I never thought Rake Lane could ever look anything but Rake Lane. Well done.
Beth, don’t worry, we understand when you are missing.
But, remember your ‘hard work’ as it will pass. My Mother used to say, first one is treated like fine china, second one treated like wood.
And the big one question when do we get a photo on the Daily Blog of the ‘hard work?
