I hope you enjoyed my first week of guest images from Gosforth last week? I’m here for a second week, but I have moved back into the city centre for the next set of pictures. This is Grainger Street. Its not as beautiful or grand as Grey street but as you can see here there are still some very handsome buildings. This is normally a very busy area but I seem to have caught it during a lull.

I enjoyed my week in Gosforth but it is nice to be back on more familiar territory, the Mile Castle at one end and Mark Toney’s just out of shot - who could ask of anything more.
I have asked Beth in the past how she managed to get some of her shots while mine are always blocked by people or buses but I can see now it is some sort of super power that goes with hosting this site.
Alf judging by the angle of the sun, very early in the morning I would say.
I am an owl.
Lovely shot.
Haha-Alf I think that super power is known as “luck” :)
