The awesome little Heaton Perk, on Heaton Road. It’s a must-visit if you live anywhere near it. It’s absolutely wonderful, one of my favourite five spots in Newcastle.

March 16, 2009 - Waitrose

Waitrose in Eldon Square.

I always think of Waitrose as being a southern shop, one that just doesn’t exist up north. It’s strange to have one in Newcastle.
