July 11, 2006 - Street sales.

People seem to like my people photos more than anything so here are some more for the next 3 days.

These two(aswell as 2 or 3 others) were trying to get people to sign up to something.I couldn’t hear what they were promoting but I bet it was a gym or something that would make you feel better about yourself(and financially poorer!) I wonder why they always use good looking people for this kind of job? *smiles*

July 10, 2006 - Tyne Bridge view 2.

Another view from the Tyne Bridge.This time you can see Baltic and also the Millenium Bridge,and on the right,some luxery flats. I really love all the chimney pots lined up like soldiers.

July 9, 2006 - Cycle path.

These signs are to mark the creation of the ‘national cycle network’. I had never seen one before,but as there are 1000 of them and they are sponsered by the ‘Royal bank of Scotland’ I assume they are all over the country. Anybody else seen one?

July 8, 2006 - Riverside Club.(as was)

This building is now used as a dance club but in the 80’s and 90’s it was a live venue.It only held about 350 people but some of the names that played here are well known to all of you.Oasis played here and lasted about 2 songs after one of the Gallagher brother got involved in a fight with the crowd! Even David Bowie played a secret gig here. This post is for P+ who no doubt spent many nights propping up the bar!
