These signs are to mark the creation of the ‘national cycle network’. I had never seen one before,but as there are 1000 of them and they are sponsered by the ‘Royal bank of Scotland’ I assume they are all over the country. Anybody else seen one?

thanks to you, I’ve seen one. It looks like something Alasdair Gray would’ve designed. Possibly, he is Scottish after all.
I’ve never seen one, but then I live clear across the pond in the central part of the USA.
I’d like to come to your town and country and ride along the route.
Just been to the Tyne Riverside Country Park with the dog today - I saw one therre - showing that the Wylam Waggonway was behind me.
How about getting yourself over to the west side of the city a bit more?
