In those days it mostly featured “adult” films and there was strict age limit but I remember they showed a Tommy Steel film and I went to see it. I was a great fan but nobody else was so I had to go alone. I was terrified that somebody would see me going in to the Stoll and report back to my parents. I was only about 12 at the time.
