Today’s picture is of the tower of the church of St Thomas the Martyr at Haymarket. This pic was taken last week but could have been today - after miserable, wet conditions in August and September we’ve had warm sunshine more days than not recently (although the days in the middle have left us in no doubt that autumn is here) and today’s sun and blue sky were beautiful.
I always think this church is called St Mary’s - its side is on St Mary’s Place - but it’s not.
Peter, aka Newcastle Historian from the Sky Scraper City Newcastle forums, has a question to ask:
‘I remember the reflected view of ‘Emerson Chambers’ being used some years ago, on a record sleeve.
Can anyone remember which one it was.
Was it a “Lindisfarne” album??
This is not a test question (I set a lot of test questions on SkyscraperCity) I just don’t know the answer, and hope that someone does!’
If anyone knows, please answer in the comments of the previous post in which he asked the question - but please let me know in case we miss the answer :)

Another masterpiece from John Dobson, what a remarkable man he was.
