July 18, 2010 - Two picture Sunday - Magnet House, Gallowgate

These panels are on Magnet House on Gallowgate. The building was built in the 1930s for the General Electric Company and the subject of the panels is ‘Power’. I walked past them many times without noticing they were there.

This street is behind the station, above the Quayside. I had no idea it existed until D and I went exploring one day. It was really quiet down there.

July 15, 2010 - High Bridge and the Swing Bridge

You can see the Swing Bridge past the High Level Bridge here. And the Get Carter car park is on the right.
