Normally you can see Vulcan outside this building in Central Square, but currently he’s on tour around the UK(!). This sculpture (well worth clicking through to that link) is called DNA DL90 and it’s by Abigail Fallis. For another great pic, click here. Also see here.
I’ll try and get a better shot before this is replaced by something else - there will be a series of works in this space while Vulcan tours the UK. My husband took this hanging out of the car after a night in the Telegraph, so sorry if it’s blurry :)

So which strand is that please.
Vulcan is the new Travelocity gnome! That’s very awesome that he gets to show off in other cities.
That’s very interesting that it’s made of trolleys. I had to look really close to see that! Makes me wonder about consumerism if our DNA is made of trolleys. Great piece.
a great ‘atmospheric’ shot, so what if its slightly blurry, I think thats what makes it atmospheric . . . and anyway thats what everything looks like after an night in the Telegraph!!
mrs k - your guess is as good as mine!
cassandra - did you click through to the link? quite interesting i thought.
peter - too true! :)
It’s the strand which controls the shopping instinct!
Mike
I just knew somebody would know - Thanks Mike
Is Vulcan doing gigs?
i’ve no idea where Vulcan will be, sorry!
