The Wren Stone isn’t at the main entrance to the Civic Centre but the one round the corner, which many of the staff use. I can’t read all of the words from the photograph and didn’t make a note so next time I walk past I will write them down and add them here. The stone was one of the ones inspected and chosen for St Paul’s cathedral by Sir Christopher Wren, but wasn’t used and so ended up on the Civic Centre.
