The sunset in Michigan was incredibly yellow-orange yesterday and it reminded me of this pic originally posted on 6 February. It reminds me of fall with it’s bright orange colour!
The miner is on the top of one of the Northumbria Uni buildings across from City Hall.

This is why I *love* Newcastle - loads of architectural bits that you just wouldn’t notice unless you were on the look-out for them! Lends itself well to a lifetime of nice surprises :)
Fantastic and I never even knew it existed.
Bless you for posting this photo.
I come from a long line of miners and steel workers.
Hi Cassandra! That is a lovely sunset in the Michigan link.
By the way, you can ask your University if you can book a room for Accomodation, from their
Accomodation department for your Graduation. Sometimes the University maintained rooms are not all fully let and anyone can book. Just email them, and tell them its for your Grad.

Mike
I’ve still never seen this. I really should keep my eyes open.
Jon, I love that about Newcastle, too! There are many things that Beth is posting that I didn’t see during the year and i’m making note to see them when I come back.
Thanks, Mrs K!
Mike, that is such an excellent idea! You are amazing!
One day, B, you’ll look up and see it without even realising it and you’ll smile. I can’t wait for that day!
