Continuing with a “ruined castles” theme, here’s the town wall, located in the city centre!
The Corner Tower: Two turrets at right angles to one another. At this point, in the early 14th century, the wall was turned east to enclose the newly acquired suburb of Pandon.
FYI: I’m going back to the states in 7 days to stay for three weeks. I will set this up to post pictures in my absence (a couple reposts maybe, a few new) but that will make RSS feeds not work. Just so you know.
