While B is away this week, we’re taking a trip to the sea!

The first photo today is the ruins of the church.

The second is the entrance to the tiny chapel seen at the bottom of the first photo, which we’ll take a closer look at tomorrow!

July 27, 2010 - Seaside Holiday Week, Day 2

While B is away this week, we’re taking a trip to the sea!

One of my top spots in the North East is the Tynemouth Priory. This first shot is the main section of the priory whose founding dates to the 7th century.

This second shot is what you see if you turn directly around from where the above photo was taken. Here you can see the Tynemouth Lighthouse.
