The second is the entrance to the tiny chapel seen at the bottom of the first photo, which we’ll take a closer look at tomorrow!

Well you learn something new everyday. I was trying to remember the name of the first King who was buried at the Priory - it was Oswin - and I discovered that the headland on which the castle and the priory stand has a name. It is called Pen Bal Crag originally known as Benebalcrag by the Anglo Saxons. I love the picture of the rose window, Cass.
The colours on the door, now weathered of course, echo the floor.

Hope you didn’t come across any of the ghosts that reside in the priory. I know a medium who refuses to ever set foot in that chapel again after what she experienced. Not very nice.
