I went into town on Friday lunchtime with a long list of things to do. I only had an hour and had to rush everywhere. But when I started to walk down Grainger Street from Monument I had to stop and get out my camera. I’m pleased I did - I don’t like to say this too often, but I love this shot.

I agree, it is a fantastic photograph for so many reasons.
Reminds me of Chinatown, remember that pic? I’d copy and paste a link if it was possible on an iPhone. Most excellent shot. I love days/moments like this!
Absolutely beautiful. In Italian we would say “un colpo di genio” - a genius’ stroke, more or less. Well caucht, Beth. Have a nice week. Ciao. Antonella

Thank you all :o) I’m thinking of getting a print of this! This is the shot Cassandra was talking about - I’d forgotten that one until you said Cassie!
Glad you all like!
You got a great capture of the sun there. It looks blinding even from my laptop :)
It was difficult walking down Grainger Street into that sunlight - but worth it :)
Absolutely Brill, love the texture of the wet pavement.
And a perfect Blue Sky.
Brilliant photo.
Thank you MarkW and Andrew! :o)
