These fireworks went off at the quayside yesterday. Hey Mike “King of all Newcastle info,” any idea why they went off?
And because it’s the 4th of July, Happy independence day America!

LOVE that pic.
I have a haircut in heaton today and plan to walk there from work. Any idea when you will be in the park and whereabouts? If I can leave work early enough I might make a detour and say hi :)
Brilliant photo - don’t you just love big fireworks displays.
The ant-spam word is ‘effortless’. How appropriate for how your photos look.
B - Anytime after 3:30p until we get sick of playing yard games! We’ll be in the big grassy area making entirely too much noise.
Mrs K - Wow, thanks!
Unfortunately, no…
I was taken by surprise as well… I heard them go off about 10.15pm last night…
I’ll keep my eyes and ears open to what it could have been…
By the way the new “what’s on” guide is out - its packed these next months:-

Enjoy!

Hello!
Just a visitor from America here looking at your gorgeous pictures of Newcastle! I’ve visited twice for a total of five weeks and I absolutely love Newcastle, I hope to come back again some day.
But enough rambling, I just wanted to say that it is funny there were fireworks on the fourth because in 05 and 06 I don’t think there were any fireworks on the fourth and that’s when I was staying. But this year, I’ve got some friends staying over there for two weeks who are American and got to (hopefully) see some good fireworks almost like they were home again.
Tirra!
