Re: picture demolition. The water is sprayed to prevent dust. Its done all the time when sweeping up etc
Yes, the water is to keep dust down. I don’t know if they do this in the UK, but if you live on dirt roads that tend to get very bumpy, they grate the road with these huge machines. then they come by afterwards and spray a type of waxy watery chemical on to keep dust from cars down. Remember seeing footage from the World Trade Center on September 11th, 2001? those huge clouds of dust? That kind of stuff is horribly harmful, and even one woman recently had her death certificate changed to homocide after it was concluded that she died from complications from inhaling the dust after the towers fell. Who knows whats in those buildings; years of dust and molds, asbestos, etc.
You can also see it used at roadworks when circular saws are used to cut concrete. At least it should be used.
Water does help keep the dust down and is also a kind of safety net to prevent spontaneous combustion when all of this wood and paper and unknown chemicals get together in the sunshine.
Nice photo.
I have some good news:
The three baby robins are on their way to Meet the World. I miss them already. It was quite an emotional experience.

wow, it is finally down! So what are they putting in it’s place, you know?
With all that water and muck it might be the new “Mud-Baths” jafabrit.
like the way you’ve captured the water drops like frozen rain in mid-air Chris..
