Spotted this and thought,wow,that is some refurbishment! Someone pointed out to me that the whole building is coming down and they are building a brand new one. Good,because the Central library is very ugly! If I’m still doing this when it reopens,I will of course post a photo! *smiles*

Like you said, it’s a really long time - what happnes if you took out a book just before they close - do you get to keep it until 2009? Have you read War and Peace yet?
