About a mile or so out of town is this haven of peace. A huge area of walks, rivers and forest. There are cafes and old ruins aswell as some houses. It is almost impossible to believe you are so near to the city centre.

Hiding somewhere in the photo is the British Head of Undercover Operations showing off his camouflage skills. Don’t give up, these guys are trained professionals!
Ad what time do you get up or do you comment before you go to bed!
That’s a nice bright green shot Chris, at the very bottom of the Park there is a pet cemetry, bit creepy i think probably would make a good horror story though!
Next to this is Pet’s corner, no kittens i’m affraid but there are ducks, pigs, goats and a sheep, last time i saw the sheep it was massive so it might have had a heart attack by now and not be there anymore.
Chris, do we get to see the animals please!

It may be the Old Eldon Square Surveillence Squadron on manouvres once again, ironically intercepted again by our able and trusted photographer.
I think the two agents identified in fridays photograph may have been joined by a colleague , the guy in blue walking away from the shot. He may be undertaking preparatory reconnaisance - ever alert to the presence of suspicious persons or movements within his proximity, with the exception of the photographer walking behind.
I see two more - possibly having been removed recently from manouvres in Argos. The first disguised, rather than camouflaged as a 28″ JVC colour television set, identifiable in the middle of the shot. The other adopting the pose of a leatherette bean bag, situated beneath the curved tree and beside the ground covering shrubs situated in the left hand corner.
We’re lucky to have these guys during such troubles times. As is the Old Eldon Square Surveillance Squads motto: “Velox, Versutus, Vigilans -Swift, Skilled and Alert.
Heva’s right, it would be great to see photos of animals posted - kittens and puppies would be nice, or even frollicking ponies.
Perhaps, following the current theme, photographs of the animals section of the Old Eldon Square Surveillence section would be an appropraite choice.
I thought the bean bag to our left was an under cover agent cunningly disguised as a giant tortoise!

Since I found Chris H’s site, I just can’t sleep! Always awake by 5.00am, so yes I do go to bed before commenting. To wait up would be like trying to catch out Santa.
To be honest though, If you remember back to the old days, on the “morning after the night before” Chris’s flat would be full of people fast asleep till mid morning, while I would be up at the crack of dawn and heading for Whitley Bay usually returning before anyone surfaced. Hyperactive I think.
And where are the Harleys you promised!
Heth-patience my dear girl. Ad and Apple can you slow it down again please-1 comment each would be good(or start your own blog??)
Bye all!

What a great idea Chris, but without your photographs what would we have to talk about. Back to the sidelines again!
