The mirrored wall above ther new chemist that has just opened.This building is part of the Eldon Square shopping centre that opened in 1976. Opposite you can see Fenwicks department store and part of the beautiful Waterstones bookstore building.

Another unusual piece.I think that this was actually a tree that that they have left were it was growing and sculptured it to make art. There are 2 or 3 other on the next streets.

A little further east from Wallsend we have North Shields. I think this piece of work is really original,in the sense that it is an ordinary street,and with no description or explanation as to why it is there!

Two miles or so to the east of Newcastle is the small town of Wallsend. The remains of this 12th century church is kind of surreal as its right in the middle of a council estate.Directly behind me are rows and rows of terraced houses ,so it’s strange to see something so old in an urban setting
