August 26, 2010 - South Gosforth Interchange

This is the metro interchange at South Gosforth. I was on a metro earlier this week and discovered that the new information boards are now in use! They tell you what the next stop is, and the information is recorded and played too - no driver announcements any more, which makes me sad.

Killingworth Lake at sunset.

I’ve never seen a lake with so many swans on it. I’m quite amazed that there’s not a single one in this shot.
