I got out of the house today! Who knew there was fresh air in Newcastle! Took a long walk in the parks with a friend who is leaving Newcastle today and took some fun shots. So for the next couple of days, i have a walking tour of Armstrong and Heaton parks for you guys.
Today is a shot of Jesmond Dene from the pedestrian bridge! There’s a petting zoo in the top left area and a pet cemetery in the bottom right.

Oooh yay! I know it well. I walked across that bridge everyday on the way to school. Those trees look a bit bigger though! :) I’m looking forward to the rest of the tour!

Mike, that place would be wonderful, however, anytime I’ve ever been down there after a good rain (and even a slight one) it’s a soggy mess! Heaton Park was perfect and we couldn’t have asked for better weather.
Snoo, it’s one of my favourite places in Newcastle!
