A fairly new bar,which had been wrapped up like a Christmas present until last week. I think they should have kept the ribbon.

February 15, 2007 - Swing Bridge.

A far better view of the Swing bridge.The whole thing swivels round to let river traffic go through.You can see the barriers and stop lights that are used to warn road users and pedestrians.

February 14, 2007 - Valentines Day.

I’m not a big one for romance,and as a single guy I don’t need to be thankfully!! :-).
However just to celebrate today here is a picture of good frinds of mine who were married last summer. I really liked this picture and I think they did too.(Hope you didn’t mind me posting this C&S?)

February 13, 2007 - Swing Bridge Roof.

The river Tyne has many bridges crossing it. This is the lowest so for boats or small ships to go “under” it actually swings to make a gap. In all the time I have lived here I have never seen it open! Another view on Thursday.
