In the Whitley Bay Metro Station, you can find ‘Passing’, a triptych mosaic, that expresses the passing of time through the image of a young family.

The outer panels depict them on a day trip to the beach while the central panel (seen above) depicts a nocturnal seascape, devoid of human activity.
