Bookending the week nicely - we started with snow on Monday and it snowed again yesterday. Only a tiny smattering today, but still treacherous. I even slipped walking from my front door to the car.
It’s still there tonight, but I’m not sure if it’ll last until morning.

Buy cheap table salt - sprinkle before you as you walk.
You had more than we did - its patchy here - but a little bit of Monday’s (gone by Tuesday - except for dykes and ditches - which old folk say if it lying in dykes and ditches its coming back.
When you are retired its great - you can look at it and think - Oh No pressure - don’t have to go out in it, except to feed the birds and make sure they have water. Hence the salt.
Thanks for that Mrs K. I’ll clear up my drive and the path outside. It’s horrendous - wet sleet freezing = ice.
Been nasty today but it hasn’t snowed or sleeted in a while now. I hope it stays clear for the Chinese New Year celebrations tomorrow.
I wish I didn’t have to go out in it. I was clearing the garden this afternoon when it started sleeting again!
That’s a nice sprinkling of fresh snow - makes me want to write in it!
It was in my work car park - I felt pretty daft just taking a pic :)
