Another one of the auction prizes was this picture from ‘X-Men’(I think??) featuring Sir Ian Mckellan. He was appearing in a play in Newcastle a few weeks ago and the boss of the pub went over and asked him to sign it ,explaining what it was for. It says on the picture…”To all at Jeff Fest______ Heeds doon. Ian Mckellan” The man is amazing!!
‘Heeds Doon’ means,heads down in Geordie…something fans of heavy metal like to do!!!
