We have many street musicians in Newcastle ,especially at the monument area. These guys have played here for years, and Im sorry to say ,but I really hate pan pipes!!(No offence intended)

But do you like the chorango!? ;^) They usually have armodillo hides as their back.
I rather like south american ensambles who play this type of music well. There were a few groups who busked around the SF and Berkeley areas when we lived there. I haven’t came across any here in Seattle. Nice colorful shot of them. What is that big stone base they are standing in front of?

I like their outfits. Oh, and your street musicians have such complete equipments!

We have two clones who regularly play in Victoria Square, just next to the public conveniences. This is very “convenient”, as I too hate the irritating warble, which has a similar effect to sticking two fingers down the back of my throat. (Offence intended.) Wind chimes should be left hanging in the outside the back door, not given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, and surely the guy on the left cound afford an adult guitar.

George Formby looks rather different in casual gear!

They look a lot like the group I’ve seen play in both Flensburg, Germany, and Trondheim, Norway. It probably is them too…

I think that you’ll find that this is the infamous “Apu” . I went to Peru last year (including Cusco) and loved the traditional Andean music.
