Hey guys,

Thanks clueless

Beck, contrary to it’s name, there isn’t really a new castle here. The only one I can think of is the castle keep and the priory out on the coast, but they wouldn’t be worth coming from Brisbane to see. Nevertheless, i’ll try to get a few shots in.

Hi Beck, I would recommend you take a tour around the counties of Northumberland, Tyne & Wear and Durham, if you want the scenic Castles tour. if you are pressed for time, then the county of Northumberland has the most and best castles in the UK.

(I’ve deliberately put a space in the www, as my post will go into a blackhole, so copy the line and delete the space before going to the site).

Remember, the weather in December in the North East, UK, is not like December in Brisbane, Australia!

Mike.

Yes I’m loving this photo.

Theoretically I’m up for meeting up but in practice not for another few weeks - just so busy! ask again later :)

Also - Beck, not many castles in *newcastle* - but TONS in the north east. Alnwick, Bamburgh, Lindisfarne (on Holy Island), Warkworth, Dunstanburgh - in fact just look here to see :)
