February 1, 2008 - Theme Day: “When People Think of My City They Think of…”

Crazy Newcastle weather! First they shut down a large portion of Jesmond Rd. due to a hotel fire, then it snows flurries that make everyone miserable and just as I get to the library, there’s sunshine! I read for three hours in a window in the sunshine! Off to class and it’s freezing, overcast, and ruddy. During class, sunshine! Way home: FREEZING & WET! Pick a climate! Sheesh!

That looks really cold!

It must be miserable having indecisive weather. If it was up to me I’d give you as much sunshine as you could handle! :)

Pass the bad weather down here in New Zealand. There’s a heatwave and a drought going on here. In fact, we’ll swap.

Heather, you’re in your summer season, right? I hope you get a little relief soon!

Thanks, Ann!

There’s some relief now… it’s weakly raining, but we need a downpour so heavy that we end up thinking about building an ark. Thankfully, such downpours happen a lot in NZ.
