Forward planning!
Note the guy on the bottom right is wearing a safety “hard” hat and high visibily vest, just in case they start building works here and add a few storeys, before he walks past. She how he looks across at the women on the bench and waits for the wolf whistles.
High visibility vests and hard hats are an essential, on building sites, which this isn’t, and giving the impression of being a “real man”, which, looking at his walk, he isn’t either. looks more like he is auditioning for the Village People! “It’s fun to stay at the YMCA”…………….
Thanks for the comments Heva, nice to know someone still has a sense of humour!. ;-)
Please can we have kittens for Heva
Harleys for me
And a mirror for Apple so at least they can check who they are.

I like this type of shot with more unusual perspectives and angles, nicely saturated colours too. I think I might have been tempted to clone out the overhead lamps, they tend to distract the eye.
Chris, can you tell me how long it might usually take to get listed in “the hub”?

Chris your blog is opening my eyes to the city i have lived in all my life, i know this is relatively new but i had never seen it. It’s very different to the older building of Newcastle it has a Spanish feel to it for me or maybe that’s just cos it’s sunny and we are not used to sun yet.

I really like your site. Me Apple & another friend Sue work together but in different offices. We’re Makkems but we know Newcastle a little bit. We talk or email eachother about your site while we’re at work. It gives us a good reason to talk about subjects that aren’t work related. Apple’s on holiday. She musn’t have found an internet cafe cos I’m sure she’d be in touch.
