centre for life (12)WP1.jpg

This is the entrance to Times Square, where along with a few bars there is the Centre for Life .It is a wonderful place for kids and adults together. It has a massive amount of things to see and also take part in.It’s hugely entertaining and very educational.(but this one isn’t free to get in!)

I’d love to take my daughters playing here even tough I have to pay :)

Surely, if you have to pay to get in, their budget could have stretched to buying an “f”, instead of adapting two “c”’s. Should have just called in the “Centre for Lice”. Now that would cause some head scratching.

the centre for life was the first remarkable spot that i saw in newcastle when stepping out of the holiday inn express. nice place! well, i’m probably biased being a researcher, but the “f” looks like a tilted X-chromosome to me ;-)

Hi Chris
Despite your strange belief that I am the only person who attempts to make humorous comments on your site, “Ralph” is not me!
Nor for that matter is Heva, Apple, or many others.
I may have had some involvement with Ant & Dec’s guest appearance, but no others……………… ‘cept Charles……..and Ade…………. oh yes, and Chaz……….well ok, one or two may have been me.
I believe that Apple may be from Sunderland. Someone visited my web site on the 3rd August at 10.54am, and had arrived there via your site! Their “footprint” was from the Sunderland area……..any idea
Over to you Mr Holmes

I am not here for my own amusement you know………….honest!

Back by special invite………………….a text from Chris H, I return to offer my professional view of this subject.

This is the Chris of old, hanging round bars, but far enough way from them to avoid buying the next round!. I remember a very similar photo in the Hull Daily Mail, back in June 1981. The main differences being that Chris H was in the shot, not surprisingly behind the bars, and the lettering on the cell bars was “approach with caution”.

It had followed Chris H’s opening night as a Rock DJ at the Waterfront Club, and his obsession with playing “Crazy Horses” by the Osmonds which led to the now notorious Soft Rock Riots of 81″.
Does my memory play tricks on me, or was that also the last night that you hosted at that particular venue?

One of my all time favourites was, and still is, “The boys are back in town” by Thin Lizzy. When played at the Mayfair in Newcastle, it meant Paddy, Tim and Ad (me) were back in the North East, and Chris H’s flat was due for a makeover.

Happy days

no Ad your not me although i’m probably to blame for Chris thinking your are Apple cos that’s what i thought. I didn’t take offence at the sick comment, it never even crossed my mind i thought you ment something completley different. Glad your back as i said to Chris good art is ment to provoke discussion.
I’d still like to see some kittens though!
