There is an extra theme day this month - namely, the Tenin Technique, named for Eric Tenin of Paris Daily Photo.
I took this pic from a very low wall outside Old Eldon Square, looking down Blackett Street towards Blackett Bridge - the blue-mirrored part - which is part of Eldon Square. The opposite side is an ad for Sports Direct. Not a terribly popular name in Newcastle right now.
I’m surprised how much I like the pic.

For those who live around here, you might be interested in this event in Whitley Bay on 26th March. It’s the launch of a book about the history of the area in the 30s and 40s. Sounds good!

a very good tribute to Eric
Looks like you were lying on the floor! Cool! Pity I’m so far from NC. I would have liked to the Whitley Bay event. All the best. Ciao. A.
Interesting, a sort of worm’s eye view of Newcastle. I know you are always encouraging us to look up but I’m not sure I can get that low at my age.
thanks all.
