Sorry I didn’t post yesterday. Stressed and tired. I should take more time to look at pictures like this. How relaxing!

about Tyne Evening ... posted by Beth
It’s refreshing to see the Tyne from this angle! So many have been shown from the other side.
I’m behind when I see the posts so I didn’t even realize that a day had been skipped, especially since a late posting on your end makes it even later on mine. Feel free to shoot me a message next time and i’ll see what I can do. I hope you feel better!
Dear Baby in B’s tummy,
Cut it out, ya hear?
Love, Cassandra
PS, grow happy, ok?
A splendid shot!
Hi The health of you two comes first, photos third MikeM
I second that, mikem.
It’s all in there… even a peak of the Sage.
My favorite part of the day, twilight. Or is it early morning? Either way it is very peaceful.
The photo was taken in the evening…silly me!
Cassandra I never meant not to post or I would have asked you :) it just got to so late in the day it hardly seemed worth it. i now have my camera back (!!!YAY!!!!) but am out of the habit of taking pics - hopefully will stock up with a few more tomorrow afternoon.
Hehe to the message to the baby! It’s not the baby’s fault though, it’s my own for not slowing down and looking after us both :) I’ll take it as a message for me to look after us :)
Thanks Rachel! :)
Thanks MikeM too - it’s hard to let go though when we’ve kept going for so long without missing a day. Preposting is the best though. In an ideal world I’d like to take each pic the day before I post it, but life just doesn’t work out like that :(
Ash - no points for observation :) Glad you like the pic :) it was a lovely, lovely evening. I don’t make enough time to walk either along the river or by the sea. i should!
I was taken for fish & chips years ago down by the river Tyne along a walkway near the waters edge somewhere…anyway there were words etched into stone along a wall and I cannot for the life of me remember what the words said… perhaps a poem or lyrics to a typically northern song, I don’t remember. Does anyone know where this is and what those words say?
No idea Ash! If anyone can give me a more specific location I’ll try and get a pic :) If it’s still there of course…
I seem to remember something around the Sandgate steps. A quick google search came up with “keelrow”, and that definitely rings a bell somewhere deep in my memory. It’s been a long time.
Thanks, Daniel!
That is a huge help and a step in the right direction.
How did we ever manage without Google?
There was a time before google?!?! *shudders*
;o)
I don’t know. Some people even state that there was knowledge before google. They must be wrong.
Daniel - yes, obviously sadly misguided :)
