Taken by my husband. The church is All Saints; it was deconsecrated over 40 years ago.
And that reminds me… It’s time for a Readers’ Photos week! From 3-9 August I’ll be featuring photos from the readers of Newcastle Daily Photo. If you have a photo you want to be featured, please email it to me at this email address. I look forward to receiving your pictures!

I love this one :)
Thanks Rachel! :)
What a pity about the church. I hope it is still used for something, ie. exhibitions, concerts etc….
Ciao. A.
Apparently it is Antonella, but I’ve never seen or heard anything about it, so I’m not sure….
I’m a bit late with this but it is now called St Willibrord and All Saints Church and was certainly hosting concerts up until last December when a friend of mine went to one.
Thanks for that Alf!
Well done - good composition (old and new again - lots of scope for that in Ncl) and I like the ‘c’ shaped bit of topiary in the foreground.
I will send some photos - do they have to be recent particularly? I’ve got some ones I took on the quay when the Tall Ships were here for example.
Thanks for that Dave, I’ll pass it on!
The Tall Ships would be good actually - I missed them!
