That pic was taken in North Tyneside, not too far from the Bowling Alley near Benton - near the Powder Monkey pub if you know it? if you actually click into the photo, though, you should be able to click to see a map which will tell you pretty much exactly where it was taken.

I like your Filckr shot showing the Monument and Eldon Square for the same reason. I must also agree with Alf; I think ‘rainy windscreen, stormy sky’ is my favourite too.
