Both of my parents were born and bred Geordies who, after the 2nd WW came to California for work with a major airline. They returned many years later to Newcastle to retire….sadly, both have since passed away. I still have many friends and family in and around Newcastle and I stay in touch. Long story short, I may have been born in the U.S. however, Newcastle is in my soul with many memories and these daily photos tug at my heart strings….in a good way!
