I’m cheating. It’s not my day today, else I’d just add this bit at the bottom. But I had ask if anyone else in Newcastle/surrounding area felt the earthquake this morning? I didn’t, but other people in my building did. But I can’t find any mention of anyone else feeling it from so far away.

Nope didn’t feel anything. I work in the centre of Newcastle as well.
Nobody at work has said anything either, I’m sure they would have it they had felt it.

yep. unless there happened to be a second, more local, earthquake at exactly the same time.
i don’t understand how at least 5 people in my building felt it but noone else in the whole of newcastle did.
The last earthquake near the end of summer 2008, My flat mate felt it in her room in the attic loft, but two of us on the first floor felt nothing. Then again, we were jumping around like idiots at the time and she was snuggled into her bed with a book.
