I didn’t go, but did you have a good time? What did they do?

The photo is quite beautiful, the colours reflecting and the chestnut brown sky…

Meead & nobu - Thanks!

Mike - It was fun, yeah, to hang out and listen to passers-by talk about what they thought was going to happen. Bit cold and wet and loads of people left when it started to rain. I heard talk about fireworks for the finale, but there wasn’t anything. Plus there was a scary walk home through throngs of drunkards… but there were five of us so it wasn’t so bad as long as we stuck together and kept our heads down! I hate going down there on weekends. They billed it as a family event, but it took nearly an hour and a half to get it lit and then was anti-climatic. Couple that with the walk home being rough, I don’t know what the planners were thinking!

I actually found Vulcan and Reach for the Stars while I was down there, but then lost my photographs in a camera mishap… but i’m determined to go get them again and post them!
