May 8, 2008 - Sunny days

sunny day, newcastle, uk

The weather here has been most pleasant lately, hasn’t it!? Everywhere you go, there are loads of students laying out in the grass, older folks in suits taking lunch breaks outside and there are so many people laying around in the parks, like this fella who took an hour nap!

We’re still in Springtime in the UK, Summer arrives next month officially!
It’s been gorgeous lately, just right for being out in the sun.

I had a yummy Thorntons brazilian nut ice cream at lunch time!

P.S. - Cassandra, the 14th University boat race (Newcastle Uni vs Durham Uni) will be held on the Quayside this Sunday, festivities start at 11:00am, with the races from 12:00pm onwards, any chance of some photos?
