I wish I could tell you an amzing story about this but I cant! No one seems to have a clue why it is here!! Anybody know?

Has to be one of the neatest/strangest building entrance guards I’ve ever seen. Vampire bunnies….who knew?

LOL! now you gave me a larf when I opened your site. thanks :) Ian don’t worry about it my mam used to work in the cathedral buildings years ago and never knew the rabbit was there, not until last year when I took her to see it. A magnificent building but bloody awful to work in :)

I’m guessing one of the music shops at the bottom of Grey Street, on the right if you look towards the Tyne?

The rabbit is at the back of the cathedral building on Dean Street, which is down from Grey Street to the Quayside. It was built in the 1900’s. The bunny is at the back facing amen corner and st.Nicholas cathedral. I remember reading that the building was used by rich coal merchants for their offices. When my mum worked there it had a variety of firms, hers being a graffic design biz. From what I understand it is now used as solicitors offices.
