Wow. That is a spectactular photograph of a beautiful interior.

When I was a youngster the neighboring city of Dayton, Ohio had a thriving business arcade. It was always filled with people buying things. Including a deli that prepared delicious sandwiches.

The building fell on hard times. Had has many owners who don’t know wha to do with it. The last time I heard the owners sold it to the city who is considering tearing it down.

I remember that arcade abraham and it was beautiful, they just can’t get people to come downtown Dayton. It isn’t a thriving city like Newcastle.
This is a gorgeous photo and the arcade is one of many treasures of the city center.
I so enjoy being able to come here and see daily pics of my home :)

Great shot!
Used to visit the music shop ‘Windows’ in there all the time. Central Arcade was always dead quiet. Wonder if it’s busier now.
I agree with Jafabrit (Hiya Jafa!!!), I love seeing these pics of my home!

Beautiful architecture - before all the rubbish which almost ruined Newcastle in the 1960s (eg car park almost obscuring the cathedral from certain angles on Grey Street! Also, turning a classic Eldon Square into a brown lump of brick…)

Also, I don’t work for them but Windows shop is a favoured venue to run down even the most obscure music.
