I should have included this image last week when I was showing you the area that had been built upon and improved. This is a piece of concrete outside some luxery flats.I really don’t know what to make of this…..do you like it?

Quite like this actually and I’m not normally a big fan of this type of art.

No, I don’t like it, it seems incongruous. I understand what they were trying to do in that they were placing a natural form (cocoon of some type) at the bottom of steps and surrounded by trees, but it isn’t working for me. It is supposed to make some kind of statement as one descends the steps, yes? Hard to see what when it looks like an ugly blob.
