Go on, guess what it is? Actually your wrong, its not a prison! This is Newcastle Central Library. Its quite nice inside but who actually thought these things were attractive when they designed them?

Britain must have a thing about ugly libraries. Didn’t Prince Charles say that the library in Birmingham looks like “a place to incinerate books?”
I wonder if people would read more if the outside looked more inviting?

Wow, it looks like some parking houses here in Oulu (you’ll see some day). Photo itself is impressive, reminds of documentary photography from pre digital era ;-) when you had to make your own b/w prints.
