Some of you may remember my pictures of the statues of ‘Man and his potential selves’ that I posted a while back. I think it was Lisi who liked the railings in the background. They are all over Newcastle and are of course based on the castle.

Anyone, anywhere, any idea as to what the black oblong box is all about ??
I like the railings. Are they old and made by a blacksmith or new and made by modern welding? Nice photograph.
