I love this building, but it always seems to be in the way. It looked really out of place when this area was used for car parking, and feels as uncomfortable in Time Square as my great grandmother on a Stag Night. Times Square is good, but not as deserving of the space it occupies as this building.
I haven’t been able to check in for a week or so, and I’ve missed some real corker shots. I especially like the Times Square photographs posted on 10th and 11th August, that remind us of Newcastle’s very well deserved reputation as the home of low budget sci-fi thrillers, with particular noteriety for the production of imaginative and creative special effects.
Excellent work Chris. You did well to capture the latest Newcastle production, Invasion from Mars sequel 7. You managed to capture the assault of the extra terrestrials on the Central Station in their cyber saucers perfectly, without compromising the quality of the shot.
Respect!
Ageism!
Tee hee. I think you’re trying to get me into trouble for having a conversation Ad.
That said, there haven’t been any kitten photographs posted so I’ll reply - It’s concreteism - though the shot of the girl against the yellow background shows concrete, breeze block and rendering can serve a purpose. That was a fantastic shot.
You don’t get in to trouble, as Chris has no idea who you are. I on the other hand………………………..
